⭐ Highlights
- December was a record breaking month with the highest turnover (manual invoicing excluded) we’ve had up to date. It was a combination of Christmas sales and perhaps our new plug in Hello Retail. According to their portal, the customers interacting with their search function had a 20% conversion rate in comparison to 2% for those who didn’t. Then again, we never had data for the customers who used our own search function before so hard to compare the possible increase. I have however noticed a big increase of items that have been added to shopping carts based on the plug in recommendations (such as reusable filters and coffee cups).
- We also finally got a big new batch of Bar-a Havre (Oatbars), great!
- Last but not least, we have now started selling Arvid Nordquist, will be interesting to see how and if these sell at our shop. This is at least great for SEO as Arvid Nordquist searches are high in traffic.
Happenings
- We decreased the shipping costs in Finland from 10-13€ to 6€ - let’s see if this results in some conversions.
- From January onwards we will start ordering our biggest Lavazza product directly from Lavazza, resulting in better liquidity and shorter delivery times. We have good collaboration with Lavazza Sweden and we will continue increasing the purchase volumes and common campaigns.

- Very few participants in the barista courses thus cancelled courses.

- A new intern from TUC is starting next week so I’m getting a helping hand again for the next 12 weeks 🤝
🧑🏽🔧 Under Construction
- VAT in Norway; invoicing the customers directly.
- Seems like a hard puzzle, different regulations for food stuff - not sure how to do this when it comes to consumable goods.
