So October, huh?

It definitely feels like the weather has cooled down and people have time to sit on their laptops again. Busy month, so to say. Let's dig into it a bit deeper.

⭐ Highlights

Firstly, we reached a milestone of 10,000 customers! Hurray!

We started sending newsletters on a weekly basis (generated 24855 kr through them). Any coffee related newsletter topics are welcome btw! We also became more active on Instagram and Facebook. Our SoMe isn't that strong yet but we're working on getting more followers so we can start using it more as a sales channel. We started for instance with a concept called ''Roastery of the Week'', where we're trying to lift up different roasteries by sharing their stories. All new followers and likes are appreciated ➡️ @Nybryggt & @Fitnessfika.

We're even slowly updating the website by cleaning it a bit and making it more concise. A new feature on the products that shows clearly whether it's beans, ground coffee or capsules.

We also did another inventory and sent out a lot of coffee for reduced or zero price, if the product had already expired. This ''rädda kaffe'' campaign has got a very warm welcome. People seem to like free products, shocking - right?

🤕 Lowlights

The amount of orders keeps still surprising us with its instability. We had for instance four days of very few orders. We had the same amount of customers but only 50% of the conversions. The only thing we could find was the speed of the website having decreased for these days, but not sure if it was the full reason behind so few orders. Another unfortunate decrease for the month was the amount of orders from Finland and even a decrease from Denmark and Norway. The traffic for these countries has even got up but conversions are low. As a reference, the goal is to have 1 order per day for these countries so low conversions don't rock our boat too badly, but my Finnish heart still cries a little when there are no orders from home land.

Not a whole lot to say about Fitnessfika in October, as the production of the chocolate balls was delayed by about 2 months. They have been produced now, so hopefully upgrading Fitnessfika to a highlight in November.

The new tax regulations for all different countries have been a pain in the butt and created a lot of work and frustration. This should be fixed now, fingers crossed.

🔮 Upcoming

-We've taken in a lot of new products, of which a big part has been new capsules. We have a big selection of capsules and therefore a proper chance to compete against some bigger capsule-players. So more focus on this to follow.

-Black Friday. We won't go big on Black Friday but we will have quite a few offers. Trying to keep proper margins on products so we're only going in with bigger discounts if our distributors have met us half way (or more) by decreasing their prices.

-Hybrid office coffee: Coffee concept where we want to offer employers the chance to provide good coffee to employees working at the office AND to those working from home. Good coffee belongs to everyone!

-New cool partnerships and distributors

-Hello Retail installation (plug in with product recommendations and other site improvements)

🧑🏽‍🔧 Under Construction

-Get Kahvipaussi.fi (Finland) flying!
